The Venerable Dr. W. Lorne Mitchell
On September 14, 2005, a collation ceremony to install The Rev. Dr. Lorne Mitchell as Archdeacon of Huron Perth was held at St. James'. In attendance were both Bishop Bruce Howe and Bishop Robert Bennett, as well as most of the Archdeacons of the Huron Diocese. Many parishioners of St. James' attended, along with Rev. Mitchell's family and friends, as well as other visitors from the diocese.

In the Garden
The gardens surrounding St. James' are looked after by The Garden Group. The pictures below show the 2005 annual perennial sale the group holds in May to raise funds. All proceeds go to maintain the gardens of St. James'.

2005 Sunday School Picnic
Young and old enjoyed the Parish Picnic last year. Look for the same fun and great food at this year's picnic on June 11, following the 10:30 a.m. service.
